A few Dings

I drive just fine.

I just can't park.

Today my car is headed to the body shop for a bit of TLC. Two dings, neither of which were anyone else's fault nor a product of a busy parking lot. I seem to have a problem parking in my garage.

Both dings are worthy of some attention. One was a very deep scratch which took the paint off down to the metal. Rust was beginning to set in. The other was a dent that couldn't be classified as little.

So for a few days, I'll be driving a much smaller car and trying to get used to sitting in a sedan instead of my SUV. And I'll be considering the eventual purchase of something I can park without incident.

May I suggest a cute little sportscar? =-) Works for me!

A cute sports car would be fun except I don't like cars that sit way down on the ground. =)

If I could find a tall sports car...I'd be in business!

SUVs are overrated. :o) Sports cars are the way to go. You can whip in and out of traffic with no problems.

Hey Dora's favorite girl - you're my kind of sports-car-driving gal!

typical conservative....driving a gas guzzler. why not also conserve our natural resources?

consider driving something more environmentally friendly

Like a horse? ;-)

My SUV gets over 25 miles to the gallon. In the land where I live this is very good gas mileage for the needs that I require in my vehicle.

Next time try signing your name with a link to your website. I'll come do a drive-by-comment for you too. :-)

Hey Anonymous - Do you drive a hybrid? Maybe I'll buy a gas guzzling hot red sports car. hehehehehe

Mom - Maybe you should start using vegetable oil in your gas guzzler.

Schweer's mom - I love sports car!

My car has so many dings that I've nicknamed it Ding-a-Ling! Not really. But someday, in privacy, so people won't laugh there heads off at me, I'll share with you a couple of car accidents I've imposed on my cars.

When my old sedan gives up the ghost, I'm going for a minivan. So I can cart around all my grandkids. Can't wait!

P.S. Wonder who the stone-thrower is.

Yes I drive a hybrid.

No I don't have a website

You think that wasting God's natural resources on frivilous automobiles is funny Dora?

What would Jesus do?

See ya at church!

Jesus would say that the sin isn't what you drive but the how you treat others.

I hope to meet you at church. You are welcome anytime.

:D

No, I think it's funny that people make such big deals about small things.

You probably don't go to my church. I have one of the smallest cars out of 10k+ plus people.

Kathy,

Jesus was not into pointing out others sins, he was more tolerant than you or I.

I think God does care how we use or misused the gifts he gives us. I consider our natural resources gifts from God, don't you?

We have already met. Look for me I drive a toyota hybrid.

Dora,
That is great that you drive a small car. Good for you in doing your part.

Our environment is not a small thing. The more fuels we burn the more damage we do to our environment. If we want our children and our children's children to have a safe earth, we have to take the steps necessary to make that happen.

I think its appropriate....since you say we've already met....for you to tell me who you are. I can then look for you at church in the morning. Perhaps we can sit together at church and worship Christ our Savior together. :-) Fun!

see you tomorrow

I know you aren't my dad (who has a Toyota Hybrid) since he is a "typical conservative" too and happens to fancy my Honda SUV for its MPG.

I can only assume you are a leg puller along with being a tree hugger since you won't tell me who you are.

Otherwise....I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. ;)
