Have you ever gotten a haircut (one that you requested) and then got home to stare at the mirror and hate it?
It happened today.
Bad hair day? I fear this will be a bad hair month.
Thankfully, hair grows! Until then, I'll find a hat.
The Lord, the LORD Almighty, called you on that day to weep and to wail, to tear out your hair and put on sackcloth. Isaiah 22:12
Yes, I know. Not in context but somehow it fits me anyway.

The verse made me giggle. When I turned 40, I used the verse from Job about "that thing which I have greatly feared has happened" - out of context but so apropo! Sorry about the haircut! At least a bad haircut is better than a bad coloring fiasco! I had that happen in college. Yikes. Not only did my hair look weird, it took a YEAR for the dried and fried ends to grow long enough to cut.
Ohhh! I've had a coloring fiasco too and you are sooo right! I'm grateful this was just a haircut. Today it feels better with my own shampoo and my blowdryer. I still need a hat.
Sorry about the haircut. I bet it doesn't look half as bad as you think it does! I once had my hair cut by a stylist that I'm convinced was as stoned as can be. The cut was so bad I went home and cried. It had taken me weeks to get up the nerve to get all my long hair cut off and I saved all my extra money to have it done.
